ABOUT CTE
In 2002 A Doctor by the name of the Benett Omalu identified a medical condition in a professional athletes brain that formed from repetitive head injury, he later went on to medically identify this condition as Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, a degenerative form of brain disease.
This silent killing disease has the capability to overwhelm our existing ability to deal with dementia and or dementia related cases. As a result of my research I estimate existing figures quoted by some to be in the region of 850.000 people is not considering associated disease that formulates from CTE. I believe the true figures in both dementia related cases and associated diseases that as yet are not drawing medical parallel are closer to 1.2 million.
